you think ATP is right….you know nothing about ATP….the ATP allowed Andre Agassi to use drugs all the days of his career just to promote tennis……so that assholes like you would watch tennis cheering Agassi and make tennis famous….Andre Agassi revealed the truth..but the ATP banned Richard Gasquet for using drugs….now where is justice here?
That line judge is a total prima donna, grow a pair ffs. If he hadn’t been such a pansy about it then who knows, people might actually have got there moneys worth. And Sue Barker saying he was “SERIOUSLY INJURED!!” FUCK RIGHT OFF. What is the world coming to?
okay, i know you’re not supposed to kick stuff, but how is that lines judge so oblivious to the fact that nalbandian is about to kick that board which may hit his leg? all he had to do was lift his legs to avoid that…
Personally I think the line judge who got kicked should have kept his trousers rolled down and sat down and not acted like a sissy. Nalbandian has a lot of cash and if I was the line judge I would have showed the player what he did at the end for an epic celebrity guilt trip and some free shit. Lol. At the end of the day the crowd came to see a game and were disappointed. The rules have let the fans down. Nalbandian has let the rules down. The latter is less important.
gosh why be so rude? i’ve never seen a tennis player do this, now he didn’t attack the guy, he meant to give a kick out of anger, like an idiot, very immature, a hot head, and he kicks a prop wall with a senior behind? he should’ve been so humble so apologetic, instead he goes and says “well..others don’t follow the rules” it was SO embarrassing..like i said, downhill from here…as 4 phrases in Spanish: “no seas un maleducado y bruto como Nabaldian”, & “que verguenza para Argentina che!” cheers
when u say “English” people u mean people from England or “English speaking people”..u might b very young..MANY people from England or the USA etc speak OTHER languages besides English,i have heard many specially those who work in humanitarian fields..n this case, he SPEAKS English, as most tennis players know, the big tournaments, except for The French Open, are in English speaking countries, like the US, the UK, Australia..so he needs to read more English & learn a mistake is MADE not “done” 🙂
What would have happened if this were an unintentional accident. I.e. if the box containing the chair was not there at all, or built stronger, would the same result happened? Nalbandian would not have kicked the lines man – and the injury was caused due to a second hand issue – i.e. the breaking of the box.
He put himself there. Nalbandian is not a piece of trash. Rules are rules for whatever reason. He is a great player. He did not disrespect the linesman, he just lost his temper and got his just rewards. To draw the ATP into it was bad timing and not the appropriate place to voice his unhappiness here.
English people cannot speak other languages besides english. I’ve NEVER seen an english or american sportsman speaking in another language but english. So why in the world Nalbandian would have to improve his english? Can you MAKE two phrases in spanish for me?
Yep, I make mistakes & when I make them, I take responsibility for them instead of making excuses or blaming others (ATP). That’s so weak & juvenile. He’s not the only one dealing w/ ATP issues. You didn’t see his opponent attack anyone. We all already know that everyone makes mistakes. So, *grow up* & take responsibility for yours. We already have a victim – the guys who’s bleeding.
You can understand how people are dissapointed here….cos they all didnt get their moneysworth…so sad…come on you lot get a life,ITS JUST A POXY GAME OF TENNIS.
You sure are a perfect person who never makes mistakes, aren’t you? You sound like a ATP employee. Go suck your boss’ balls, he may be worried about where his little dog is.

Chances are he is very sorry that things ended the way that they did, but he also wants people to hear things from his perspective.

Very interesting insight from Tom Barnes at the end there with his “yes” comment…

Line umpires make from $85 to $135 a day, and cover at least 50% of their own travel expenses.
